Grace Working Bee - Saturday 19 May

Come along at 7.30am for working bee to spread more mulch on the gardens. All those that are intending to come along could they bring rakes, shovels and barrows.

St John's Congregational Meeting - Sunday 20 May

There will be a short congregational meeting on Sunday 20 May at 9.10am to re-present the budget to the congregation. You would have received a copy of the reworked budget in the last St John's c-News Update. If you have any queries please contact Patrick Feeney.

Friendship Club Bus Trip - Monday 21 May

A very nice drive through Esk, Woodford stopping for lunch,

Mt Mee, Dayboro (afternoon stop) and home via Brisbane. Bus leaves St John's at 8am. Bus fare $30. Seats still available. Phone Lola.

Parish Pentecost Service - Sunday 27 May

The Parish Pentecost Service will be held at St John’s next week commencing at 9am. There will be no Sunday services at Bethany or Grace Congregations.

It would be much appreciated if each family could bring

a plate of goodies to share for the fellowship morning

tea afterwards.

Knitting

The next pick up of knitted items is mid May. These scarfs, beanies, gloves and mittens are placed in care packs and delivered to soldiers serving in Afghanistan. I am told that the soldiers really appreciate these gifts of love. Any completed items can be dropped in to Parish House or passed onto Betty Taylor.
