John O’Keefe (Pastor)
John is the Lead Pastor of the Ipswich Lutheran Parish and is passionate about empowering teams: “We are better together!” He endeavours to create a supportive and encouraging environment where God’s people can use their unique gifts and talents to serve God and each other in love. He feels blessed to be a part of a gifted team and rejoices in all that God continues to do through the lives of His dearly loved people. John is also ‘Mr Technology’. He is enthusiastic about using technology to great effect in ministry and uses his skill in this area to ensure the parish office runs very smoothly and efficiently. Pastor John works out of Parish Office Mondays to Thursdays.

David Taylor (Administrator)
As well as being the full time bursar of our parish school at Bethany, David works half a day a week as the
Administrator of the Ipswich Parish. David is a member of Bethany congregation.

Karen Cotter (Ministry Support)
Karen is our Reception Administrative Assistant at the parish office. Karen is the person you will deal with if you phone, email, fax or drop into the parish office and is in the office from Monday to Friday. Karen is a member of St Johns congregation.

Leanda Dionysius (Ministry Support)
Leanda is our Ministry and Administration Support person at the Parish Office. She works with many of the volunteers who help out the parish office as well as other administrative and ministry matters that come through the office. Leanda is also involved in the parish library that is located in the foyer of the office. Leanda is in the office from Monday to Wednesday. She is a member of St Johns congregation.

Michelle Yarrow (Professional Standards Officer)
Michelle is our Professional Standards Officer overseeing our risk management policies and procedures, which includes Safeplace and Childsafe. Michelle is in the office on Tuesdays. Michelle is a member of St Johns congregation.

Josephine Brown (Children & Youth Worker)
Josephine works with the Children and Youth programs of the Parish including H2H Confirmation and RAGE Youth Ministry. Josephine is in the office on Tuesdays and Fridays. Josephine is a member of Bethany congregation.

Vicki Park (Pastoral Care Support)
Vicki is passionate about the members of the Parish fulfilling Jesus command to us in John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Vicki’s role is to help connect church family members in caring for one another’s needs. The help is dependent on people within the Parish catching Jesus’ vision and command to show the world that we are His disciples by loving one another. Vicki is in the office on Tuesdays and is a member of Bethany congregation.
